MySpace takes on video sites

MySpace just added a feature that allows users to add videos to their profiles, rivaling services like YouTube that allow free video hosting/posting. This could get interesting, especially if syndicated and copyrighted material turns up.

As you recall, YouTube was recently sued by NBC for providing SNL clips, although as CNet notes you can still see the sketch through the NBC site, purchase it for $1.99 through iTunes, and Google Video is serving up the copyrighted work for free.
